Congratulations to Karen Nadeau! She’s won a month-long, family membership to Peek-a-Boo Center in Westbrook. Karen says her team enjoys hiking throughout the state during the summer:

We get out and hike, hike, hike! We frequent Bradbury Mountain, Acadia National Park, Fuller Farm Sanctuary in Scarborough, Mt. Agamenticus, and lots of other places. It is always nice to get out and exercise with the family, while teaching them to love and respect nature! We love the outdoors… and Peek-a-boo too, of course.

To find family-friendly hiking trails near you, visit Maine Parks & Lands or the Maine Land Trust Network, which offers a complete list of Land Trusts by county.

Happy summer hiking, everyone!

Note to readers: Peek-a-Boo play center closed in June 2014.
