Our first snow today has MP thinking of cozy knits for little ones. Plus, she’ll be visiting her baby nephew in New Jersey soon, and she wants to bring him something special from Maine.

MP is a big fan of Three Kittens Knitting in Limington. Shop owner Cathy Bernier knits lovely winter hats, but she also crochets adorable baby booties. MP loves that you can throw these in the wash, too.

We love the adorable wooden buttons on these boots.

Grandma Cookie Potato is one of a kind. One of the things we love most about GCP is her ability to rock accessories like striped Halloween socks and funky pumpkin earrings. She not only buys these accessories for herself, but outfits CP#1 and #2 with Halloween-inspired gear whenever she can.

It’s no secret that we are big fans of the Maine Etsy Team. And we love what some of our favorite designers have such fun offerings for fall. First, MP was literally oohing and ahhing over the adorable knit hats at Three Kittens Knitting in Limington. Cathy Bernier’s hats are perfect for a quick costume.

Add a green onesie and you have the cutest frog costume ever

For a colorful table, Moon Dog Farms offers these adorable felted pumpkins. We like them because they’re perfect for Thanksgiving, too.

MP loves collecting fun decorations that we can use year after year. These creative bottle cap magnets from Pumpkin Seed Mama are made for hanging up refrigerator art.

Moms need to be festive, too, right? Check out these fun Halloween candy earrings, made from vintage buttons, from Portland-based jewelry designer Katie Sullivan Jones.

Happy Halloween everyone!
