MP was shopping at the Center for Maine Craft’s new location in South Portland and discovered the wonderful work of Jean Fink. The Unity-based fiber artist makes sweet, little dolls using wool from her farm’s sheep.

Love the red hair and rosy cheeks…

CP#2 likes this guy’s cowboy print pajamas… so cute!

In addition to dolls, Jean also makes cotton baby dresses in colorful, geometric prints and coordinating “bloomies” to wear underneath. Don’t you love handmade items like these? They’re so perfect for a shower or new baby gift.

To find Jean’s work, visit the Center for Maine Craft or her Esty shop, Wool Art by the Sea.
