While the grandparents were visiting this week, we spent a memorable day at Reid State Park in Georgetown. The quintessential Maine park offers swimming at both a traditional beach (Todd’s Point) and a warmer, saltwater lagoon (Griffith Head). Our crew opted for the road to Todd’s Point, where we spotted deer grazing in a field and gulls flying over salt marshes. And the view of the ocean? Spectacular.

Dreamy… no?

Team Cute Potato has guests in town this weekend, including a little guy, so we’re working our activities around his afternoon nap. That’s why we’re loving the sound of Kids’ Day in Bath (part of the city’s Heritage Days). This early morning event is dedicated to crafting, face painting and games under a big tent.
